Why Take The Spiritual Maturity Class?

Why not take the maturity class? As Christians we are never done growing. The Bible tells me, as a pastor, that my responsibility is to remind people. Peter writes: "So I will always remind you of these things, even though you know them and are firmly established in the truth you now have. I think it is right to refresh your memory as long as I live in the tent of this body," (2 Peter 1:12-13). Jesus asked Pete to feed His Sheep and Pete fed them the gospel all of his earthly days. You might say, Pete repeated often.

Our houses need to be cleaned and repaired to last. Our cars need tune-ups to run well. Christians need to be reminded of the gospel daily. The maturity class is a spiritual tune-up. This class will encourage you to have daily habits that the Holy Spirit uses to mature you.

After 3rd service in Big City. A membership class for anyone interested in learning more about our church. Lunch provided. Class taught by Pastor Eric.

May 2nd- Family Camp Fundraiser Dinner and Talent Show
6:30pm at the church. Be sure to come and have a great dinner, and enjoy a talent show. All the time supporting Family Camp!

What's going on in the Teen Ministry

Summer is coming! It’s going to be very busy but it’s also going to be a great one! The youth have many opportunities to get involved and go on many different journeys this summer. What I need is a head count of who is going where; so we can make appropriate plans. I am planning to hand out a letter this Sunday with all the different trips our youth could be apart of. Look for me this Sunday, get the letter, check your family calendars and get back to me with the information. We will also need some help with fundraising, driving vans and just hanging out with some great kids. If interested contact me, Pastor Dewey at 922-5675.

What's going on in the Kids Ministry

I am so excited about this Sunday! This week in Big City we have some special guests joining us. The Puppet People from the Eagle Church of the Nazarene will be performing for us during 3rd hour. The Puppet People is a puppet team of 4th thru 8th graders. We will have the Critterland class join us as well.
