What's Going On This Weekend?

TAILGATE PARTY!

WHEN: Saturday, Feb. 2nd @ 6 - 8pm

We are going to have a great "tailgate" meal and then get "pumped-up" for the BIG GAME on Sunday morning. Bill Burch, founder of EAGLE MINISTERIES INTERNATIONAL, is going to lead us in "rising above the ordinary" in a "Hearing From God Event" which will inspire us to fulfill the Great Commission and the Great Commandment of Jesus.

We will be having two services this Sunday: 9:30 & 11:00 am

We are going to be glorifying our God and enjoying Him "together". Pastor Ron and the "Red Zone" will lead us in worship in song, Pastor Eric will lead us in worship in giving, and Pastor Bill Burch will lead us in worship in a "Hearing From God Event". We will WORSHIP! Come and celebrate God's Amazing Grace with us!

Music Theory Made Easy!

Have you sung in choirs, a vocal group, participated in special music, or played a musical instrument but never learned the basics about music theory? Here’s your chance to do that without having to pay for college credits, do a lot of homework, or even have to worry about getting a decent grade. I think it will be just plain fun and learning combined! I’m talking about the course Music Theory Made EASY!
It starts this Sunday, February 3 and will be each Sunday for the next 10-12 weeks from 11:30 AM - 12:15 PM in the Foyer of the church around the big screen TV. I’ll be the Teacher/Facilitator but we’ll be using a DVD series by Paul Baloche – who wrote songs like “Open the Eyes of My Heart”, “Rise Up and Praise Him”, “Above All”, “Praise Adonai”, and many other popular worship songs to guide us through the course.

What's going on in the Teen Ministry

Some call this "Super Bowl Weekend" but at KNC, the first weekend of February has always been "Winter Retreat" for the youth group. I am asking our church family to pray for God's direction and will as the group (all 38 of us) get out of our regular routine and seek His face. It will be awesome; lives will be changed! We will also join with our church family in the Faith Promise campaign. May God bless us as we follow after His will.

What's going on in the Kids Ministry

Thank you for making the VeggieTale Movie a great success! It was great to see everyone there and to listen to all the kids giggling and laughing (thanks Will!). Should we do something like that again?

Do you know what the Wall of Faith is? Hollywood has the "Walk of Fame." Big City Studio's answer is the Wall of Faith. The Wall of Faith is an opportunity for the kids to declare their faith in Jesus Christ as their Savior to others. The next time you are in Big City, look for the Wall of Faith and the hands that represent the lives of our kids. This Sunday, we will be offering an opportunity to have your child's hand put on the wall. The Wall of Faith ceremony will be held during the activity stations from 9:30 to 10:30. Make sure your kids don't miss the opportunity to celebrate their faith with their friends!
