Nothing Is Impossible For God

What's going on in your life right now? Some of us are going through "hard" times. Some of us are going through "good" times. Others are just existing and feel "numb". Sometimes it's diffucult to "see" that we all live in the context of God's grace and that every experience, and whatever emotion is tied to it, is a gift from God. "I'm financially upside-down... that's a gift from God?" "My spouse dislikes me...that's a gift from God?" "I've been diagnosed with cancer...that's a gift from God?" Life, as hard as it can be, is a gift from God. It's much better than the alternative! How do we get "joy" in the storm? In Luke 8:40-56, Jairus whose 12-year-old daughter is dying falls at Jesus' feet and pleads with him to come to his house and heal his daughter. On the way the crowds are slowing them up and Jesus stops to talk to a woman who touched his cloak and is healed of an untreatable disease. I'm pretty sure Jairus just wanted Jesus to get to his house and heal his daughter. While Jesus is talking to this woman a report comes from Jairus' house that his daughter is dead. "My daughter died...that's a gift from God?" But... Jesus asks Jairus to not be afraid and to believe that his daughter will be healed. When Jesus gets to Jairus' house, he raises his daughter from the dead. Nothing is impossible for Jesus! This is what I suggest for a life of joy... 1. Fall at Jesus' beautiful feet in worship and beg Him to come to your house
2. No matter the situation, don't be afraid, but believe that God can and will raise you too.

Pastor Ron

The last few weeks we’ve been talking briefly about the importance of corporate worship - endeavoring to answer the question, “Why is meeting each week to worship God so vital to the health of our church and to us personally?”
Here’s a review of what we’ve covered thus far:
Part I We worship God because HE IS WORTHY of worship.
“For great is the Lord and most worthy of praise.” I Chron. 16:25
Part II We worship God because HE HAS CREATED EVERYTHING.
“You alone are the Lord. You made the heavens, even the highest heavens, all their starry host, the earth and all that is on it, the seas and all that is in them. You gave life to everything, and the multitudes of heaven worship You.” Nehemiah 9:6
Part III We worship God because IT IS FITTING or THE RIGHT THING TO DO for those who love Him.
“Sing joyfully to the Lord, you righteous; it is fitting for the upright to praise Him.” Psalm 33:1
[February 24]Part IV We worship God to seek His MANIFEST PRESENCE in our midst.

If you did not receive yours or have miss placed them, you can find the forms on the teen web site (www.kunanazteens.com). Also on the website, you will find more information regarding the Main Event. The cost for Main Event is $20; $15 for all the different activities and $5 for NNU campus housing. Young people, if you would like to go please let me know and bring in your forms and money this Sunday. Keep in mind what the Bible has to say to teens it’s found in 1 Timothy 4:11-17. What's going on in the Kids' Ministry

God continues to bless Kuna Nazarene Church. Just yesterday at Caravan, we had ten first-time salvations- and six of the kids do not have parents that attend our church. Praise the Lord! He continues to show me that He has great plans for this church!

We will be testing for prizes on the last four weeks of Bible stories that we have covered. As we have stated before, the kids can use whatever they have written down in their Big City Books.
