BREAKING NEWS ON VEGGIETALE MOVIE!!

I just got a phone call from the theatre. When they were clearing the special showing with headquarters, they found out that no special showings can occur in the first 2 weeks. That means that we would have to postpone the movie until 9:00am on Saturday, January 26th. They also changed the price to $6.25 per person for the movie, junior popcorn, and small drink. We have had a great response to the VeggieTales private showing- but this may change things for a few people. To answer some of the questions that have come my way: Yes! The whole family is invited- even teens! We will all meet at the theatre. You don't need to pay until we get there but we are paying together, so we will need cash or checks written out to Kuna Nazarene. If you have not signed up or would like to bring along some friends, it is not too late! I just need to make sure we still have enough people for our 50 person minimum. Please comment or email me to let me know if you are still going. We'll also have the sign up sheet at the check-in table on Sunday if you need to cross your name off. Sorry! We live and we learn! I'll do better next time!

How do Christians make decisions?

Learn to ask yourself these questions before making any decision:
«Is my decision in keeping with God’s written command?
«Is my decision beneficial to all people?
«Will my decision create an unhealthy habit in me?
«Is my decision made in consideration of others?
«Is my decision loving toward others?

Thoughts about last Sunday

Beyond my highest expectations! Incredible! Just a couple of ways to describe last Sunday at KNC. The brand new early worship service (8:00 AM) got off to a very good start and shows signs of accomplishing what we prayed it would – to free up space in our 9:30 & 11 AM services for continued growth. Here’s the attendance breakdown for last Sunday (Jan. 6) in the sanctuary:
8:00 AM = 35
9:30 AM = 88
11:00 AM= 67
Pastor Brian also had a good group of kids in Big City during the first service. So keep encouraging your friends to give us a try. They have questions and problems – we’ve got The Answer and the Solution (Jesus)!

What's going on in the Kids Ministry

I know it is not Easter yet, but believe it or not, this week in Big City marks the beginning of the journey to the cross. We will be in Mark 11 with the story of Jesus telling the disciples where to find the donkey he was going to ride into Jerusalem on. Talk about attention to detail! Take a look at this story and look at all that God had planned out ahead of time. The disciples had to be shocked by what they found just as Jesus told them. Can we trust the Word of God? You better believe it! God has a plan for our lives- specific plans!
