What's Happening in the Kids Ministry

Did you know that God is serious about honoring people in authority? In the story we will be looking at in Big City this week, God makes it very clear to not mess with his chosen leaders in Moses and Aaron. The story is found in Numbers 17, God makes clear who has chosen Aaron as the leader by making his staff sprout, bud, blossom and grow ripe almonds. That is a pretty snazzy staff! God then expects His people to trust His choice in leadership. We show trust in God's choices by respecting and obeying our leaders- parents, teachers, and other leaders that are in our life. It should be a great lesson for the kids to participate in. We'll also be doing our review game where kids can earn extra Big City money for being able to answer questions from the last few weeks.
Just a reminder to children's ministry leaders, our meeting will be this Monday, 1:00pm, for a barbecue at the Knights. Let me know if you plan to attend!
