Last week for the e-news I shared with the church family about the up coming “Super Weekend” other wise known as the Youth Winter Retreat. It was touch and go there for a while. Lots of debating; should we go up to McCall with all the snow and all. I am sure glad we did, it was a great time! We all experienced God moving up at Camp Pinewood. Not only did we have a great time playing snow-football, snow tubing, swimming at Zimms and getting messy during Messy Game Night. But I believe all those who went were challenged by God to take the next step in their Christian lives. On Sunday morning we had our own “Faith Promise” pledge; a time where we listen to God and let Him challenge us. As you know the group pledged $850 for world missions. Along with their money pledge, the youth also pledge to attend and become more involved with church. Nine of our young people want to become members and eleven want to get baptized. Pretty much all of them want to use their talents to serve God and they want to step up and give tithes to Him. What the youth need now, is for their church family to be in prayer, so that they can be true to their promises. Thank you, Kuna-Naz. for making this retreat possible; thanks also goes out to those awesome youth workers who shared their lives with our young people. May God be Praised!Pastor Dewey
